Woo. My company brought us to Chilli Padi for New Year lunch! Hahas. Its a Peranakan restaurant and caterers. Offers authentic nonya cuisine. Located at Joo Chiat. I'm first time there. Nice atmosphere. The decorations and equipments really very nyonya and super vintage! Haas.
We have the Prosperity New Year Yu Sheng. Eh, taste okay lahs. But the sliced carrots is rather hard to chew. Manage to eat two slices of salmon!
Lady boss ordered quite a lot. Watched 小娘惹 and got to know some of the dish names. We had Nonya Assam Curry Fish, Ayam Ponteh, Mutton Rendang, Babi Ponteh, BBQ Sotong, Chilli Kacong, Cabbages with seafood and Otahs! Yummy! Damn bloated!
Even though its called Chilli Padi, but it not spicy at all! (:
